JACOB GIBERSON, Sr., 93, from Southampton, NJ, died on September 5, 2024, at his home.
Jacob was born on September 28,1930, in Mount Holly, NJ, to Frank and Rose Giberson. In 1949 he met and married his one true love, Anna O’Krem. They were married for 72 years until Anna’s passing in 2021. He looked forward to the time he will be reunited with her in paradise, here on earth.
He had 5 children, Michael (Tina) Giberson, Jacob Giberson, Jr. (predeceased), Jerry Giberson, Kathleen Young (Ralph), and Kristina (Vincent) Luce. He is also survived by his adopted daughter, Martha Horn (Joseph, predeceased). Jacob had 6 grandsons, Joseph (Michelle) Horn, Keith (Julie) Giberson, Christopher (Nikki) Giberson, Shaun Giberson, Aaron Young, and Nathan Young. He had one granddaughter, Cheryl (Bill) Trudel. He had 6 great-grandchildren, Nikolai, Sasha, Harper, Brooks, Richie and Sean. He also had many nieces and nephews he loved very much. He is survived by his brother Richard (Marie). He is predeceased by his brothers Sam (Anna), Benjamin, James (Marguerite), Andrew, and Esther (Roy).
He will be sorely missed, but we know we’ll see him again, here on earth (John 5:28, 29). He looked forward to that time, and being reunited with his wife.
Jake was very happy to have learned the truth about God and his promises for the earth, and would share his faith with any who would listen. He held a number of jobs in his life, including Presidential Homes, the Railroad, and he retired from Lenape High School. He was a consummate worker. He worked hard every day, well into his 90’s. He looked forward to the time when he’ll be working again daily. He said he’ll build everyone new houses.
