Jane Harlos German (nee Harlos) of Haven Beach, NJ went home to be with the Lord on June 8, 2020 at 98 years of age. Born and raised in Kingston, PA, she resided in Haven Beach for 20 years moving there from Haddonfield, NJ and Philadelphia, PA. Jane was educated at the Wyoming Seminary in Kingston, PA and served in an OSS office in Washington, DC during WWII. She later moved to Philadelphia and wed Edward C. German in 1950, to whom she was married until his death in 2009. Jane was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church in Long Beach Township, NJ, was an avid reader and loved to knit and spend time with family and friends. She is survived by her son Jeffrey N. German, and Jeff's wife, Betty Ann, her brother, Walter L. Harlos, and her “adopted” daughter, Sheila, and her husband, Carson, of Bayhead, NJ. Jane also leaves 5 grandchildren, Katelyn (Walker), Courtney (James), Kelley, Michael (Molly), and Emily, and 3 great-grandchildren, Eleanor Jane, Carson and Anna.
