Janet Eleanor (Kaes) York

JANET ELEANOR YORK (nee Kaes), age 84, of Southampton, NJ passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 21, 2024.  She was born in Newark, NJ to Marian (nee Goldberg) and Ernest Kaes.  She spent the majority of her adult life raising her family in Cherry Hill, NJ at 121 Weathervane Drive.

Janet is the Beloved wife of Richard; loving mother of Lisa (Tim) Price, David York, Linda (John) Casole, devoted Grammy of 4, Lauren (24), Jenna (21), Chase (15) and Brooke (10); dear sister of Norma Kaes.

Janet, better known as "Grammy" lived for her family and dedicated the last 24 years to helping raise her 4 grandchildren.  She loved reading, knitting, shopping, watching The Voice and lunching with her friends.  Grammy is famous for her brownies and macaroni & cheese.  She touched countless lives with her kindness, was generous, and always saw the best in people.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Saturday, November 30, 2024 from 10:00 - 11:30 am at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Road, Medford, NJ.  A Memorial Service will follow at 11:30 AM.  

Janet was a member of the Deborah Hospital Foundation, Southampton Chapter and she regularly donated to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
