Jean M. (Johnson) Grochowski

Jean M. Grochowski (nee Johnson) passed on November 12, 2024, age 88 years, local artist of Medford, NJ, former member of Merchantville Playcrafters Theater Group, Merchantville Junior Woman's Club, and employed as Administrative Assistant in the Department of Defense at RCA in Cherry Hill, NJ. She taught piano lessons in earlier years and studied Fashion Illustration at Philadelphia Institute of Art, studied watercolor painting and attended numerous art workshops with nationally known artists.

She was predeceased by her beloved son, David J. Shrimpton, and is survived by her Granddaughters, Melissa Kephart (Jeff) of Shamong, NJ, Ashley Shrimpton of Palmyra, NJ and daughter in law, Rebecca Shrimpton of Riverton, NJ. Also survived by Great Granddaughters Kyla and Madelyn and Great Grandson, Legend. She loved dogs and had at least 12 in her lifetime.

Because of her passion for dogs, in lieu of flowers, donations to Voorhees Animal Orphanage in Voorhees, NJ or to the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Rescue Club, Inc. in FL.
