JOAN GLADYS MILLER (Yannarella) passed peacefully on June 11, 2022 at the age of 88 at The Masonic Village in Burlington after a brief illness. Born in Mt. Holly, NJ, she is the daughter of the late John and Gladys Yannarella and the beloved wife of the late Gene S. Miller. She is predeceased by her brother John D Yannarella and his late wife Virginia. Joan was the beloved Mother of Gene J. Miller and his wife Maria of Shamong, NJ. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kristin Anne Girard (Greg), Gregory John Miller (Jenny) and Katie Marie Van Fossen (Zach). She is survived by her 5 great grandchildren, Jonathan, Declan and Cole Girard & River and Ryder Miller. She also leaves many beloved cousins, relatives and friends-especially Lois her longest friend from kindergarten.
Joan was a 1952 graduate of Burlington City HS and was married in 1955 to the love of her life Gene. Joan worked at the Pennsylvania Railroad from 1954 to 1964 , then was employed as a secretary for the Edgewater Park School System for the next 30 years. She resided over the years in Delanco, Southampton, Tabernacle, and Hammonton and the last 7 months at The Masonic Village of Burlington. She enjoyed the shore, the casinos and most importantly her grandchildren. Joan loved to cook and talk on the phone to friends and relatives.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, June 17th, 20 22 from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mount Holly Road, Medford, NJ, where a Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in the Monument Cemetery in Beverly, NJ.
