John D. Butler (Jack) residing in Medford & Medford Lakes, NJ for over 54 years went home to be with the Lord while surrounded by his family on September 26, 2020. He lived life to the fullest for 86 years. Born in Baltimore, MD, he is the son of the late George & Helen Butler. He followed in his Father’s footsteps working for Esso in the beginning of his career, before becoming partners & Vice President of Bob Meyer Communities. Jack was always giving, volunteering and supporting organizations in his community, especially at his church. His love for Long Beach Island created so many wonderful memories. He was happiest when surrounded by his family. Jack is the beloved husband of 63 years to Jean K. Butler and is the Loving Father to Kathy, Jackie, Carole, J.D., and Ryan. He is the Grandfather of 13, and Great Grandfather of 4 and older brother to Wayne Butler. Jack was a Patriot, loved his Country & His Savior Jesus Christ who we know welcomed him home with open arms saying…JOB WELL DONE JACK! Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Friday, October 2nd, 2020 from 9:30 to 11:30 AM at the Marlton Assembly of God, 625 E. Main Street, Marlton, NJ, where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow in the BG Wm. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Bradley & Stow Funeral Home in Medford, NJ.
