John (Jack) R. Steponick passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on April 14, 2023, at the age of 85. He was born in Philadelphia, PA to Mabel (nee DelFranco) and John C. Steponick.
Jack was married for 54 years to his devoted wife Kay and raised five children. Jack was a graduate of St. Joseph University and was a veteran in the US Army National Guard. He had a successful career in chemical sales. His outgoing personality and a gift of articulate conversation lead to many friendships. He enjoyed good German and Italian food. Had a passion for politics and current affairs. Most importantly he put his good Christian values that he instilled in his children to use. Family concerns was his highest priority and giving words of wisdom to those who needed it the most. Jack loved spending time at home surrounded by his family and a good meal!
John is predeceased by his beloved wife Katherine, loving father of Linda (Gary), John (Gerilyn), Laura, Tara (Amy), and Todd. He Is grandfather of Ryan, Nolan, Jonathan, Maria, John Michael and Olivia. He is also great grandfather to eight great grandchildren. He is brother to Roseann Marie Perilli, He is uncle of nine nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 11AM-Noon on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 11AM in St. Mary of the Lakes Church 40 Jackson Road, Medford, NJ 08055. A Funeral Mass will be held at Noon. Graveside services will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery 240 Lower Landing Road, Blackwood, NJ 08012.
