Jolanta (Jill) Szymanik (Eldridge) of Leisuretown, Southampton, NJ, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2023, surrounded by her loving family after her 5 year battle with cancer.  She was 70 years young.  Jolanta was born in Domanowo, Poland to Helen (nee Winski) and Richard Parafianczuk. 

Jill was funny, smart, and loyal as hell.  She loved to sing, dance, being on the beach, fishing, and capturing the special moments of her life through the lens of her camera.  Her joy and energy was infectious.  She pursued all of her passions fearlessly.  On the dance floor, she was your best partner.  Her singing voice was beautiful and she never missed an opportunity to belt out a tune or two.  Out on the ocean she was as fierce as they come, there wasn't a fish out there that was a match against her.  She treasured every moment of her life and taught those who loved her to do the same. 

She was also witty and hilarious.  Her laughter was contagious, and could brighten up even some of the dullest of days.  People loved her for her vivaciousness and her welcoming manner.  She was always the one you’d call when you first woke up in the morning.  She made everyone feel at home.  To many she was the mother you never had and the dearest of friends.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all she has touched and her love for life will continue to inspire all of those who were blessed to have known and be loved by her. 

Jolanta 'Jill' is the beloved wife of David Eldridge, loving mother of Jacqueline (Jason) Self, Jennifer (Todd) Novak, and Stephen (Jennifer) Syzmanik, and to stepson Davie Eldridge, adoring grandmother of Aubrey and Hailey Self, Mathew Koebert, Ava, Flynn, and Devlin Novak, and Victoria, Michael, and Luke Szymanik, dear sister of Renata (Robert) Kennedy and survived by her many nieces and nephews. 

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 8:30AM to 10:30AM in the Bradley & Stow Funeral Home 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Road, Medford, NJ 08055.  A memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church 1603 Marne Hwy., Hainesport, NJ 08036 https://www.ourladyqop.org/ at 11AM on Saturday.  Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.  (BradleyStow.com)
