Joyce L. Milligan

Joyce "Joy" L. Milligan, 73, of Whiting, NJ, passed away quietly on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 with her daughter and son at her side. They were able to hold her hands and comfort her until the end.

Joy is survived by her beloved children: Janet Marie Hudson of Presidential Lakes Estates, NJ, and Eric C. Hudson (Suzanne) of  Wallkill, NY, her loving grandchildren: William Hudson (Monica Motter), Lily Rose Hudson, and Ian Hudson, devoted great granddaughters: Layla Motter Hudson and Hazel Grace Hudson. She is also survived by her dear sister: Linda Chur (Chuck) of Florida, dear sister-in-law: Sharon Milligan of New Jersey and many doting nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents William T. Milligan Sr. and Evelyn Milligan (nee Braddock), her brother William T. Milligan Jr., and her twin sister Janet Avallone.

Joy was a long time Executive Secretary for Campbell Soup Company until her retirement. She then decided to go back to work at the Deptford Mall where  she spent many more years meeting new people and gaining new friends.  She was a strong and independent woman that loved and cared for everyone that she ever met.  They were all family.  While we had a great loss, we shared a lifetime of memories and experiences that will last forever. We love you Mom. We love you Mom-Mom Joy.
