On Tuesday, April 7, 2020, Karen Tosh, loving wife and mother of 2, passed away peacefully at the age of 76, at Virtua Memorial Hospital from complications of cancer.
Karen was born on Aug 7, 1943 in Mt. Holly, NJ to George and Mildred Tice. A graduate from Lenape High School Class of ’61, Karen started her career in the US Navy shortly after High School. Soon after enlistment, Karen met her husband, George Tosh. They married on December 23, 1962. They raised two children, Joy and Timothy.
Through the years they moved from Jacksonville, FL to Hawaii, California, West Virginia and Illinois before settling back in Southampton NJ. She was a caring, loving person and she cherished her close friends and family. Karen has a passion for her orchids and was an avid wildlife watcher at her house in the Pine Barrens. For several years, Karen was President of the Mt. Laurel Garden Club and was an active member of T.O.P.S. (Take Off Pounds Sensibly). She actually ended up living a mile from where she grew up as a child. She was known for her compassionate spirit and her love of family.
Karen was preceded in death by her father, George Tice and her mother, Mildred Tice. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, George Tosh, her children Joy Raffety and Timothy Tosh, her sister, Penny Lucas and brother George Tice and several cousins. She also had three grandsons, Daniel, Tristan and Tyler as well as a great-granddaughter, Violet Rose. Her loss will be felt by many and she will surely be missed.

Interment will be private in the BG Wm. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
