Katherine L. Caputo (nee Wiker), longtime resident of Medford, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, July 24th, 2025 at age 89. Just one day short of her 90th birthday. She was born in Monesson, PA to Marie and John Wiker. Kay is the beloved wife of 61 years to the late James C. Caputo, loving mother of James (Jane) Caputo, and Robert (Samantha) Caputo. The proud and adoring grandmother of James (Taryn), Jillian {Logan Laughlin}and Tai. She was blessed with a great grandson this past year Caleb. Katherine is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Katherine was a gifted and dedicated educator who taught third grade for many years in the Tabernacle Public Schools. She was also an avid reader who enjoyed sharing her love of books with her children and grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation at the Bradley & Stow Funeral Home 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Road, Medford, NJ 08055 on Tuesday, July 29th, from 6PM to 8PM. Interment will be private, and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Food Bank of South Jersey, 1501 John Tipton Blvd, Pennsauken NJ 08110 or at foodbanksj.org.
