Laura B. Parker (nee Henisee), 100, of Corbin, Kentucky, formerly of Denton, Maryland and Medford, NJ passed away October 15, 2023 at Baptist Health in Corbin, Kentucky. She was born and raised in Medford, New Jersey.
Pre-deceased by her husband, Edward Parker, Sr., parents, Albert & Beatrice Henisee, brother Albert Henisee, Jr., sisters Alice Burnette, Dorothy Hildebrandt, Anna Hustus and step-daughter Marion Pulling and husband John.
Laura is survived by her sons Edward O. Parker, Jr (Julie), David L. Parker (Pamela), Step-daughter Emily Bouloubasis (Nick), grandchildren Joshua Parker (Samantha), Timothy Parker, Michele hogan (Bryan), Ashley Hutton (Brandon) and step-grandchildren Stephanie Hoskins (Don), Kimberly Ruble (Dan), Elena Bouloubasis-Long (Will), Nicoletta Slovinski (Robert) and Maria Kochas (Marc). She is also survived by siblings Florence Brotherton, Joseph Henessee, David Henisee (May), and Mary Drayton (Richard). She also had several great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Parker was employed by Binkley’s Five and Ten and Cosaboom’s Butcher Shop in Medford for many years. She was also involved with the Medford Grange and 4-H Club. She loved her flowers, plants and baking.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday, October 23, 2023, from 10:00 to 11:00AM at the Bradley & Stow Funeral Home, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd, Medford, NJ 08055. Funeral Service to follow at 11:00AM. Interment in Park View Cemetery at Historic Medford.
