Leona (Gagnon) Ayotte

LEONA AYOTTE (nee Gagnon) age 96, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 28th, 2020.  Leona was born in Van Buren, ME and was the daughter of the late Henry and Melvina Gagnon.  Beloved wife of the late Alphy Ayotte. She was the Devoted Mother of Beatrice Moore (Allan), Gilman Ayotte (Ardith), Clayton Ayotte (Edna), Geraldine Chelotti (the late Stephen), and Ronald Ayotte (Barbara).  Leona was the Caring Memere of Nine (9), Allan, Timothy, Stephen (Rocky), Michelle, Anthony, Tracey, Jamie, Eric and Bryce.  She was the Loving Grand-Memere of Nine (9) great-grand children.  She is survived by her siblings Gerald, Percy, Edgar, and Henry Jr.  She was also pre-deceased by two sisters and two brothers.  There are also several surviving nieces and nephews.  Leona was a resident of St. Mary Villas (The Manor at St. Mary’s) for twenty years.  Her activities and hobbies included attending Mass daily, singing in the choir, playing bingo and completing countless jigsaw puzzles.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.  Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Wednesday from 9:00 – 10:00 AM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt.
