Lois Prince Obituary

Lois Palma Prince, (nèe Filippini), a resident of Medford, New Jersey, passed away on February 14, 2026, at the age of 80. Lois was born on March 27, 1945, in Teaneck, New Jersey, and grew up in North Bergen. She was predeceased by her parents, Angelo "Flip" and Connie Filippini. She was also preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of nearly 38 years, Peter Prince, who passed away in November 2021.

Lois was a graduate of Holy Rosary Academy in Union City. After high school, she graduated from the prestigious Katharine Gibbs School in New York City. She carried the "Gibbs Girl" standard of excellence throughout her career, which included several years with Konica Konishiroku in Englewood Cliffs during the 1970s and early 1980s. Later in the 1980s, Lois worked as an administrative assistant for Mitchell Reports, Private Investigating of Cherry Hill, NJ, a position she enjoyed for many years. Later in life, she found great joy in serving her community. During the 1990s, she was a familiar and beloved face at Nokomis School in Medford Lakes, where she cared for local children in the "School’s Out" before and after school program. Her patience and kindness left a lasting impression on a generation of Medford Lakes families.

Lois is survived by her daughter and devoted caretaker of ten years, Jennifer Constance Rubino, and her first husband, Raymond Rubino. She is also survived by her stepson, Alden Prince, and his wife, Fran, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; and her step-grandchildren: Dominic Prince, Joey Prince, and their siblings.

Lois is also survived by her brother, Alfred Filippini, and his wife, Lynn, of Medford, New Jersey. She leaves behind her nieces: Alyson Filiippini; Lisa Fillippini and her husband Mark Papuga, along with grand-niece Lucy; and Tara (Filippini) Palatini and her husband Ryan, along with grand-nephew Leo and grand-niece Vivian.

Lois loved spending time with family, photography, going out to dinner, watching podcasts, and playing with her dog, Snooky.
