Louise D. Aub (nee Peterson) of Mount Laurel, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. She was 90 years of age. Born in Philadelphia, Pa, she is the daughter of Anna (nee Baltrunas) and Frank Peterson. She was married to her husband Ray for 65 years before his passing in 2015.
Louise enjoyed the Jersey Shore, where her parents would take her on vacation, and she would later take her children and then grandchildren there often. She was involved at St. Mary of the Lakes Church, where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society and volunteered at the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Shop. When her children were growing up, she was active in the St. Joseph/St. Mary’s PTA and was a yard mom. Her “Church Ladies” were very involved in making crafts for the school Christmas Bazaar. Louise also loved living in Lake Pine. She and Ray would go to the Colony Club dances and liked making floats for Lake Pine Day. Louise and Ray moved to Holiday Village in Mt. Laurel in 1985, where she enjoyed being one of the daily “walkers” and crocheted baby blankets to donate to a local hospital. Later she moved to Brightview where she enjoyed Bingo and watching old movies.
Louise is the beloved mother of Kathleen (Thomas Bruckner) Aub, Thomas (Debbie) Aub, Joanne (Dan) O’Callahan, and Michael (Kerianne) Aub; loving grandmother of Sean, Danielle, Andrew and Derek.
