Margaret M (Michel) Johnson

MARGARET M. JOHNSON (nee Michel), of Bordentown, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 23rd, 2024. She was 85 years of age. Born in Guanica, Puerto Rico, she is the daughter of the late George and Gertrude (nee Regan) Michel and the wife of the late Thomas Elwood Johnson.

Margaret was an employee of the State of New Jersey and had resided in Bordentown for many years. She was active in St. Mary’s Church of Bordentown and sang in its choir. Margie was a woman of many talents and passions. She was interested in genealogy, exploring nature, and caring for her dogs. Margie played guitar, drew pencil sketches, and baked. Her nieces and nephew fondly remember the efforts Marge made for her hand-made fruit cakes at Christmas!

She was the beloved sister of Helen Lennon, deceased, George Michel, deceased, and is survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, February 16th, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 45 Crosswicks Street, Bordentown, NJ.
