Margaret Mary (Leanch) Kalfas

Margaret Mary Kalfas (nee Leanch), age 93, formerly of Allentown, PA, recently of Tabernacle, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 21, 2025. She was born in New Brunswick, NJ to Elizabeth (nee Emody) and Nicholas Leanch.

Margaret was a big fan of mystery movies. She loved playing Solitaire and following the news and gossip on her iPad. She also loved playing cards and games with her great-grandchildren, and she was usually the winner!

Margaret is the beloved wife of 65 years to the late John; loving mother of Constance (Thomas, deceased) Salvino, George (Shelley) Kalfas, Nicholas (Susan) Kalfas, and John, Jr. (Jane) Kalfas; doting Grammy of Nicole (Salvino) Long, Marla (Salvino) Gangloff, Dana (Salvino) Spetter, Joseph Salvino, Sarah (Kalfas) Fuhrman, Caroline (Kalfas) Huber, Elizabeth Kalfas, Sienna Kalfas and Joshua Kalfas; and adoring Great-Grammy to Julian and Carmine Gangloff, Mason and Samantha Long, Bailey and Taylor Spetter, Thomas and Scarlett Salvino, Lucas and Carsen Fuhrman, and Jack and Hudson Huber. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and in-laws.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Avenue, Whitehall, PA 18052 on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 10am to 11am. A funeral Mass will be held at 11am. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, 1700 Airport Road, Allentown, PA 18109.
