Margot Weinert Obituary

Margot U. Weinert (nee Glissmann), age 90, recently of Moorestown, NJ, previously of Lincoln Park, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday, December 8, 2025. She was born in Bremen, Germany to Sophia (nee Mundhenk) and Henrich Glissmann.

Mom was part of the Greatest Generation. She was born in Germany, during the beginnings of WW II, and survived that terrible part of history. She traveled to America, by herself, at the age of 18, looking for a better way of life. She found it here and never gave up on that dream. She was so proud when she became an American citizen, on January 4th, 1985. She was a stern disciplinarian, only because she wanted the best for her family, and knew it was not easy. She enjoyed knitting, bowling, her treasured cats, and later in life donating her time to St. Timothy's Lutheran church. 

Margot is the loving Mother of Roland & Christie Weinert (nee Ward), and Monica (nee Weinert) & Daniel Herasimtschuk, adoring Grandmother of Jessica Ward, Alexander Weinert, Samantha Moran (nee Weinert), Nicholas Weinert, Jennifer Mallory (nee Herasimtschuk), Jayson Herasimtschuk, Ashley Harris (nee Herasimtschuk) and Andrew Herasimtschuk, and devoted Great Grandmother of 10 beautiful children that loved her very.  She is a dear sister to Wolfgang Glissmann.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Services and interment are private and will be held at the convienence of the family.
