Mark Held 1959-2026
Mark Held, a devoted son, beloved brother, and cherished uncle, passed away in March 2026. Born in St. Louis, he was the son of Roy and Jo Held. He is survived by his father, his sister Kim and her husband Doug, and niece Madison and her husband, Trey.
Mark attended Cherry Hill East and was a proud graduate of Villanova University. His life’s journey carried him across many countries and through the United States, including time spent in Connecticut, Japan, New Jersey, and across Florida. Those who knew him will remember his smile, intelligence and wide range of interests.
He found great joy in travel, making several memorable trips to Rio de Janeiro, a place he especially enjoyed.
In his younger days Mark was an avid ice hockey player and a lover of music, electronics, cars, and racing. He led a diverse career, working in banking, owning both a delivery business and a telephone business, and contributing his abilities across multiple disciplines.
He will be deeply missed by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on through the lives he touched with his kindness and enduring spirit.
Funeral services will be private.
