Maruta Maija (Kubulnieks) Delle

Maruta Maija Delle of Southampton, N J passed away peacefully on September 1, 2023. She was 84 years of age. Maruta was born in Aluksne, Latvia to Lucija (nee Kencis) and Rudolfs Kubulnieks.

To Maruta, family was more important than anything else.  When both her daughter and son left the nest she joined H&R Block and very soon became a senior tax advisor.  She often travelled with Aivars, her husband, on his business trips to many cities in the US and Canada.  She particularly loved the trip to Mallorca in the Mediterranean.  Twice she visited Latvia the country of her birth.  They were emotional events for her.  She was a very active participant in the Latvian society, was a member of the folk dance group that performed in a number of cities in the US and Canada, was a member of the theater group and performed in several plays, was a teacher in the Latvian Saturday school, was a member of the sorority where many Latvian women with college degrees belonged, and she regularly attended Latvian event of significant importance.  That is how she met and married Aivars.

Maruta is the beloved wife of 61 years to Aivars U. Delle, loving mother of Daina Walters married to Brian, and Andrejs Delle married to Maribeth, doting grandmother of Kristofer engaged to Rebecca, Erik, Patrick, Emily, and Lauren, dear sister Aina Priedite, and deceased sister Guna Ozolins.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 2PM – 4PM in the Bradley & Stow Funeral Home 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Road, Medford, NJ 08055.
