Mary Lue Tupper, age 92, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2023 following a brief illness. She is survived by her children, Lawrence Tupper (Mary), Susan Baseman (Richard), and Beverly Lee (James), her sisters, Fern Valentine and Phyllis Cass, grandchildren (Heather (Jason) Costomiris, Gary Tupper, Kristin (Jordan) Benbow, Michelle Tupper, Lisa Tupper, Zachary Baseman, Andrew (Breanna)Lee, Benjamin Baseman, Anna (Jeffrey) Lee, Emily Tupper, Daniel Tupper, and Melanie (Josh) Smith), as well as 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other extended family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of almost 70 years, Gilbert P. Tupper, her son Gary Dean Tupper, her sister, Alice Goshorn, and her parents, Otto and Letha Wiese.
Mary Lue was a devoted wife and mother, raising 4 children and supporting her husband’s career, which took the family from coast to coast and even around the world. She volunteered her time and contributed her significant talents in support of her church, her children’s school and extracurricular clubs and activities, and other charities and groups wherever they went. Later on she became a beloved grandmother known for pancake breakfasts and summer camping outings in their RV or at their home in West Chester.
Relatives and friends are invited to her memorial service in the chapel at the Evergreens, 309 Bridgeboro Rd, Moorestown NJ at noon on Friday, February 3rd, 2023. Interment will be private in the Edgewood Memorial Gardens in Glenn Mills, Pa. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Bradley & Stow Funeral Home in Medford, NJ.
