Mary Ann (King) Bakley

Mary Ann Bakley (nee King), age 83, of Mount Laurel, NJ, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2025. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, to Marie Loretta (nee Berger) and Raymond Lewis King.

Mary Ann loved the garden and took great pride in her flowers. She was busy around the house but always found the time to help others. In her younger years, she was an active member of the Union Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary in Medford. She enjoyed playing crossword puzzles and Wordle. Mary Ann also enjoyed dancing.

Mary Ann is the beloved wife of the late Robert Bakley, enjoying the long companionship with her fiancé John (Doug) Griffith, loving mother of Howard J. and Linda Meeks, III, and John P. and Diane Meeks, adoring grandmother of Lindsay (nee Meeks) and Sean O’Neill, Joshua and Stephany Meeks, Jared and Jamie Meeks, and Bryan Meeks. She was a doting great-grandmother of Kaden, Emmie, and Kinsley. She was a dear sister of Raymond L King Jr. Mary Ann is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing at the Bradley & Stow Funeral Home, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Road, Medford, NJ 08055, on Monday, June 23, 2025, from 10 AM-11:30 AM. The funeral service will begin at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, 2398 Rt. 70, Cherry Hill, NJ 08022 at 1 PM.
