Michael Carl Oattes

MICHAEL C. OATTES, of Medford, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 7th, 2025. He was 64 years old. Born September 20, 1960 in Cherry Hill, NJ, he was the son of Carolyn and the late Carl Oattes.

Beloved Father of Levi Oattes and Wyatt Oattes of Medford, NJ. He is also survived by his sister Diane (Paul) Handel and predeceased by his brother, Darren Oattes. Michael lived most of his life in Lake Pine, Medford, NJ.

Michael was a 'Jack of all trades', master of most. In his career, he was proud of his time as a Boiler Maker with Local Union #13 in Newportville, PA. He also worked as a carpenter, a plumber, a welder, mechanic, contractor and auctioneer. But his greatest source of pride in life was being a father to Levi and Wyatt.

Michael’s hobbies were varied. Whether he was imparting wisdom during a project or driving trucks in the mud, he loved to share his experiences with the boys. He loved the outdoors, especially camping, fishing, grilling and mudding. He was a true car and truck enthusiast. He was happiest when he was watching his sons play baseball.

Family and friends are invited to greet his family on Saturday, February 15th, 2025 from 11:00 am – 12:00 Noon followed by a Memorial service at 12:00 noon at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Road, Medford, NJ. Interment will be private.
