Nancy J. (Filan) Filan

Nancy J. Filan of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Sunday October 15, 2023. She was 62 years of age. She was the beloved oldest daughter of the late Jo Ann and Francis Filan. A loving sister of Mary and George Hamernick, Linda Crognale, Sandra Filan, Daniel Filan and the late Barbara Filan. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews, whom she adored.

Nancy grew up in Port Monmouth, NJ and was a resident of Jackson Township since 1995. She was also a proud alumnus of Rutgers University, where she earned a degree in English literature.

She had a long career as a markup editor in the publishing industry. Nancy loved traveling; she visited England, Ireland, Scotland, France, and many other destinations. Nancy also loved autumn and going to craft fairs, festivals, or antiquing. Most of all, she loved spending time with friends and family at holidays, birthdays, BBQs, sporting events, and all other special occasions. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday, October 20, 2023, from 10:00 to 12:00PM  at the Bradley & Stow Funeral Home, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd, Medford, NJ 08055. Funeral Service to follow at 12:00PM. Interment Adelphia Cemetery, Howell, NJ.(www.BradleyStow.com)
