NURIT SANDMAN (nee Dubinsky) of Medford, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 12th, 2021 at the age of 84. Born in Rehovot, Israel, she is the daughter of the late Julius and Mina Oakley. She is the Wife of the Late Dr. Barry G. Sandman.   Nurit came to this country from Israel with her parents and 2 younger sisters. She taught herself English and then met her husband. Once she met Barry they had a son and took care of patients in his family medicine practice for 40 years. They both loved to travel, learned to fly airplanes and ran a business taking care of the many pilots they befriended over the years. She loved to sew and was a very ambitious, outgoing and fashionable woman who knew how to decorate, how to dress, and how to make people laugh. She was adored and admired by many.  Nurit is the loving Aunt of Dr. Susan Behar & spouse Matthew Behar. She is the Great Aunt of Arielle, Chase, Ryan & Ethan, who loved her dearly. She is the mother of Arick Sandman and the grandmother of twins. She was predeceased by her younger sister Ruth and leaves behind a younger sister, Nera. Her life touched many people and was full of opportunities and adventures until she settled down. Between flying, being part of the RV & MG clubs, and taking care of of the pilots they helped, she was known and loved by many.  She will be dearly missed.  Relatives and friends are invited to greet her family on Friday, September 17th from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Road, Medford, NJ. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM. Interment will be follow in the BG Wm. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ. (www.BradleyStow.com)
