Patricia T (Donohue) Gawronski

PATRICIA T. GAWRONSKI (nee Donohue), of Tabernacle, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 19, 2024. She was 85 years of age. Born in Phila, PA, she was the daughter of the late Timothy Donahue and Margaret (nee Toomey) and the wife of the late Leon James Gawronski.

Patricia resided in Tabernacle for the past 25 years, moving there after raising her children from Palmyra and Philadelphia, PA. She was an Employee of Wise Tag and label in Pennsauken, NJ and after raising her children, she followed her passion with HAM Radio (Amateur Radio). Teaching herself morse code, communicating with other HAM radio operators, contacting Russian Cosmonauts and utilizing her skills volunteering with the Red Cross. She was a Nanny for two families who she cared for like her own grandchildren for many years. She enjoyed skimming rocks, fishing and being on the water. Pat shared stories about the times she enjoyed the opportunity as a child along with her brothers on Tugboats, time spent with her family in Cape May and taking her children crabbing on the bay at the Causeway at Long Beach Island, NJ. She appreciated the beauty of Hummingbirds, long walks and working with electronics, which came naturally to her. She had music and rhythm in her soul, enjoyed dancing. She worked at Arthur Murray Ballroom Dance Studio providing lessons. She loved to laugh, have fun and give gifts that always served a purpose, such as seat belt cutter and window breaker, NOAH weather station radio’s and oil lamps. She was a thinker and a planner, always three steps ahead. She loved nothing more than her family, her children and grandchildren where her world and loved each one more than life. Her children felt her unconditional love and support throughout childhood and adult life. Pat loved to talk with people and made friends along the way. The kitchen table was open to family, friends and neighbors, it was a place to gather and talk and laugh for hours, leaving your stomach muscles hurting or a kind, helpful conversation to guide you when needed.

She is the Beloved Mother of Theresa Cherubino and her husband Richard of Shamong, NJ, Patricia Gawronski of Osborne Island, NJ, James Gawronski of Osborne Island, NJ and Nicole Grant and her husband Gary of Ship Bottom, NJ and the Loving Grandmother of Ava Gawronski, Jessica Cherubino, Nicholas Cherubino, Anna Gawronski.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday, October 25th, 2024, from 10:00 – 11:00 am at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Road, Medford, NJ, where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
