PATRICIA POTTS (nee Snyder) a long time resident of Audubon, NJ and most recently of Lumberton, NJ, passed away on Saturday, November 19th, 2022 at the grand age of 88. Born in Newark, NJ, she is the daughter of the late Dorothy (nee Fairbanks) and Charles Snyder.
A retired Registered Nurse, Patricia provided pediatric care at Cooper Hospital in Camden, NJ for many years and subsequently became a school nurse and administrator for the Philadelphia School District and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, serving in these roles for over thirty years. She received her nursing degree from Methodist University and continued to pursue her educational ambitions receiving three separate Master Degrees from Villanova University. Patricia enjoyed travelling throughout numerous European and Asian countries along with her husband and friends. Patricia was an active member of the Lumberton Historical Society and supported several food banks in the area. Patricia was also passionate about environmental issues, most recently embraclng and supporting the Save the Butterflies campaign.
She is the beloved wife of Roy R. Potts, her husband of 66 years who survives her, and the loving mother of three sons, David (Linda), Gary (Catherine), and Richard (Jane) and the adored grandmother of Christopher, Rachel, Natalie, Jessica, Jeffrey, Katherine, Steven, and Adam.
A Celebration of Life for Patricia will be planned in the coming weeks.
