Paul W Stitt

PAUL W. STITT, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 24th, 2021 at the age of 80. Born in Altoona, PA, he was a resident of Shamong, NJ since 1977. He is the son of the late Clarence Grant and Margaret Elizabeth Stitt. As an engineer for Siemen’s of Cherry Hill, NJ, Paul traveled the world extensively for 40 years doing what he does best, fixing things; however, his true passion was serving Christ. He was a long time member of Shawnee Baptist Church and enjoyed working in the sound booth, with the children and youth, going on mission trips, working the grounds and maintenance, his long-standing prayer group, and ministering to people. Paul loved music and could be found playing the organ in the sanctuary and at home. He is the Beloved Husband of Joanne E. (nee Focht) Stitt of Shamong, NJ and the best Loving Father ever of Julie Ann of Tabernacle, NJ, Robert Grant Stitt and his wife Leslie of Dallas, TX, Sara Elizabeth Ruiz and her husband Chad of Houston, TX, Anne Louise Lavelle and her husband David of Clearwater, FL and Ruthie Elaine Stitt and her husband John Reem of Medford, NJ. He is also the brother of Deb Boor of New Enterprise, PA, the proud Grandfather of Samantha, the late Joshua, Michelle, Melissa, Danielle, Sara Joy, Hannah, Grace and Tyler and the Great Grandfather of Dominic, Santino, and Gianna. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday, October 28th from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at the Shawnee Baptist Church, 303 Oak Shade Road, Shamong, NJ, where a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 3:00 PM. A private family Interment will be held on Friday at 3:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery in Lumberton, NJ. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, Medford, NJ.
