Richard (Dick) Charles Budd went home to be with the Lord, at the age of 78, on July 17, 2021. Dick was born on July 31, 1942 to Charles & Olive Budd and grew up in Trenton, NJ with his brother Gary. Following graduation from Trenton High School, Dick served in the US Army for nearly three years and was stationed in Korea.  On September 7, 1963 he married Carol Ann Mohnal, also from Trenton, NJ.  Shortly thereafter, Dick and Carol moved to Voorhees, NJ, where they had three children, Debra, Randolph and Rebecca.  Dick is survived by his wife Carol, his three children, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild!

In 1980, Dick made a profession of faith and accepted Jesus Christ, as his Lord and Saviour.   

Dick was a dedicated optician for many years, owning many optical businesses over several decades.  Dick was a member of the Cherry Hill Rotary Club for several years and even served as Rotary President for one year.  Dick had a passion for refereeing high school soccer games and did so for many years.  Dick was an active and faithful member of a few churches in the Medford, NJ area.  Dick loved interacting with people and had an amazing sense of humor...he loved to laugh!   

Dick will be forever loved and greatly missed by everyone who knew him!

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Friday, July 23 from 10 to 11 am at the Bradley Stow Funeral Home, 127 Medford-Mount Holly Road, Medford, NJ.  A service celebrating Dick’s life will begin at 11 am.  A private interment will be at the Brigadier William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
