Rita M (Yost) Paczkowski

RITA MARY PACZKOWSKI, of Tabernacle, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, March 23rd, 2021. She was 73 yrs. of age. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she is the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Yost, and is the wife of the late Joseph Walter Paczkowski.  Rita worked for the Lenape Regional High School District, retiring as a custodian. She earlier worked at Philadelphia Electric Company.  She is the Beloved Mother of Stephen Paczkowski (Chuan Luo), Vince Paczkowski and Catherine Paczkowski (Arnold). Rita is the Loving Grandmother of Lily Paczkowski, Walter Paczkowski and Brendan Paczkowski.  Rita enjoyed travel, get togethers with family and friends, reading, and sentimental movies/ TV shows. She remembered various travels and events in great detail, especially any to New York City.  She was very devoted to her family throughout her life. She wasn’t much for hobbies or activities, but she was often eager to support others in the family in their hobbies and pursuits. As an example, one of Rita’s favorite trips was a family vacation to California and Las Vegas that was spurred by husband Joe’s participation in a national bowling tournament.  She also kept a close bond with friends made over 60 years prior in elementary and high school. The group organized travel and events that Rita looked forward to and cherished.  Some other favorite trips of Rita’s included a visit to England when she was a teenager, a return to the UK for her and Joe’s 30th wedding anniversary, a trip to Las Vegas when Rita and her girlfriends were turning 50, a trip to Maine with many funny moments, A trip to Disney Word when she and Joe were turning 60, and a cross country trip with Joe and granddaughter Lily.  Services and Interment will be held privately. Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Bradley & Stow Funeral Home, Medford, NJ.
