ROBERT E. CITERONE of Gibbsboro, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 22nd, 2025 at the age of 85 in his home in Ocean City, NJ, his happy place for 48 years. Bob, as he was affectionately known, was born in Camden, NJ and was the son of Pacifico and Josephine (nee Rosa) Citerone.
He married Frances E. (nee Gallucci) Citerone in 1962. The two met when Bob was only seven years old and Frances only five years old and shared a beautiful and loving life together.
They were blessed with three children: Michael (Tammy) Citerone, Michele (Richard) Hughes, and Lisa (Gary) Witham, and nine grandchildren: Kailyn, Mia, and Michael Citerone, Livia, Keegan, Brady, and Corinna Hughes, and Jacob and Isabella Witham.
Bob was preceded in death by his twin brother Louis Citerone. He is survived by his brothers Raymond (Marlene) Citerone and Richard (Margaret) Citerone, sister-in-law Judith Citerone, and many dear friends who remember him as a loving and hardworking family man and a caring friend.
He graduated from Drexel University in 1968 with a degree in electrical engineering. After working at RCA, Bob followed his passion for teaching and dedicated 25 years to Lenape High School in Mount Laurel working with students one-on-one as a paraprofessional. He was also a proud veteran of the United States Army National Guard.
Bob enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Phillies with his family and will be remembered for his energetic renditions of “Be My Love”, fondness for crabbing and the Ocean City boardwalk, and knack for math, but most importantly for the love he held for his family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday, August 1st, 2025 from 10 AM – 12 Noon at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Road, Medford, NJ, where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 12:00 Noon. Interment will follow in the Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson, New Jersey.
