Robert “Bob” Russell Cotton, 92, of Marlton, NJ, went home to Heaven on January 23, 2026. Bob was a faithful servant of Christ, a loving father, and a devoted husband of 69 years to his wife, Catherine.
Bob was born on September 10, 1933, in Barrington, NJ, to the late Emma (nee Nichols) and Edward Cotton. Following his graduation from Haddonfield High School, Bob began his career at Winchell Printing Company. After he served in the US Army at Ft Gordon, Georgia, he returned to Winchell. Bob was a resident of Erlton and Cherry Hill before moving to Mt. Laurel and finally to Marlton. A Boy Scout, Bob served his community as a Boy Scout representative and provided a lifetime of service to his church. Most recently, Bob assisted his neighbors and volunteered at Wiley Christian Retirement Community. Bob’s life purpose was to serve the Lord. He was an example of Christ’s love to his family, friends, customers, and community. His cheerful demeanor was evident to all.
Bob is survived by his wife, Catherine (nee Stroemel), and his son, Craig (Nancy). Bob shared his love of birds with his grandchildren: Marc (Christa), Ryan (Hannah), Tyler, Cassie (Anthony) Pompei, Lauren, and his great-granddaughter, Elsie Mae Pompei. Bob joined his granddaughter Brianna in Glory.
