Robert Lee Obituary

Robert Kenneth Lee, 89, of Medford, NJ, passed away on May 29, 2025. He was born on April 16, 1936, in Brooklyn, NY, to the late Thomas Francis Lee (father) and Virginia Moore (mother) and David Stone Hurd (stepfather).

A proud veteran, Robert served in the United States Marine Corps before becoming a dedicated firefighter at Fort Dix in New Jersey, where he served his community with honor for many years.

He was a loving father to his son, RobRoy Lee, and daughter-in-law, Donna, of Sugar Hill, GA, and a cherished grandfather to Gabe, Ethan and granddaughter-in-law Jennifer of Georgia. He was also a proud great-grandfather to Emma Mae. He was also the grandfather to Denny George, II of California. Robert is survived by his brother, David Thomas Lee, and his wife Paula, of Lumberton, NJ, and many other extended family members and friends.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Victoria Ann George (née Lee), his sister, Carol Hoyt (née Lee), and his parents.

Robert’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His family will remember him for his steadfast devotion to those he loved, his quiet strength, and his commitment to serving others.

Relatives and friends are invited to his graveside service on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 1:00 PM at BG William Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME in Medford, NJ.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to USMC Toys for Tots, 18251 Quantic Gateway Drive, Triangle, VA  22172 or to (www.toysfortots.org).
