Timothy E. Wilcox, beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, cousin, and friend
passed away unexpectedly in Little Egg Harbor, NJ on Wednesday, April 20, 2022.
He was born on November 28, 1961 in Alpena, MI to Franklyn and Donna Wilcox. Tim spent his early
childhood in Michigan before eventually moving to Medford, NJ. He was an alumni of Shawnee
High School and graduated from Rutgers University.
Tim spent his professional life helping individuals, and families, protect their legacy and futures.
He prided himself on doing the best for his clients, and made sure many were on their way to
reaching their goal of financial security. Tim earned many insurance designations, including
CLU(Chartered Life Underwriter), ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant), and CFP (Certified
Financial Professional). He worked for Northwestern Mutual Life and most recently, with Calle
Financial Network. Tim truly enjoyed his work, and considered it an honor to be trusted with
such an important role in his client’s lives.
Tim is survived by his wife Kimberly Wilcox (nee Pickering), children Danielle and John Grisi,
and David Wilcox, niece Aeironna Wilcox, and granddaughters Sawyer and Harper Grisi. He is
also survived by his brother James Wilcox, Sr, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and
nephews, his cousins whom he adored, and many friends. Nothing was more important to Tim
than family and friends, who were just an extension of his family.
Tim is predeceased by his parents Franklyn and Donna Wilcox, as well as his brothers,
Christopher, and Kent Wilcox.
Tim enjoyed being with family and friends and watching football, NASCAR, and golf. Many
Sundays you could hear him yelling at a referee on TV for a bad call. Tim also enjoyed boating
and fishing, and hanging out with his cats, DJ and Tommy.
There will be a viewing at 10:00am, Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church
located at 61 Route 70, Marlton, NJ with a service following at 11:00am.
