Verna P (Patane) Battinelli

Verna Patane Battinelli (Nee Patane), of Southampton, NJ, and formerly of Woodbury Heights, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, January 21st, 2020. She was 87 years of age. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she is the daughter of the late Angelo and Dora Patane and the wife of the late Albert C. Battinelli. Verna was a proud graduate of the Moore College of Art, Class of ’54 in Philadelphia, PA.

 She is the beloved mother of Barbara McDonald (John) of Ivyland, PA, Elena Applegate (Kit) of Southampton, NJ and the late Maria Battinelli. Verna is the loving grandmother of Matthew McDonald (Ashley), Michael McDonald, Carter Applegate, Brett Applegate and Audrey Applegate.  She is the loving Great Grandmother of Wickham McDonald. Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Friday, January 31st, 2020 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Infant Jesus Parish-St. Margaret Church, 334 Beech Ave., Woodbury Heights, NJ, 08097.  A memorial mass will follow on Friday at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held privately.
