Viola V. (Virilli) Foster

Viola V. Foster (nee Virilli), aged 93 years, of Medford Lakes & Burlington, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Tuesday, June 11, 2024.

Our Bella, Nona, Mom Mom, Violetta, Viola is the beloved wife of the late Richard Winfield Foster, loving mother of the late Richard Scott Foster (Gina), Christopher Taylor Foster (Sandra), Diana Foster Tardonia (Frank), adoring grandmother of Amy B. Riggs, Ashley N. Patterson (Josh), Daniel W. Foster (Ellen) Joseph Mullan (Stephanie), Francis Foster Tardonia, loving great grandmother of Jordan Riggs, Jackson Riggs, Alexa Riggs, Aaron Riggs, Bodhi Patterson, Tyler Patterson, Gavin Patterson, Cecilia Patterson, Emma Mullan, Cameron Mullan, and New Great Grandchild Baby Girl Foster (Due in December of 2024). 

Viola was pre-deceased by her siblings. Lena Awdiok, Johnny Virilli, Paul Virilli, Helen McCormick. Also survived by life long friend Caia Arnone & many very special nieces, nephews and countless friends. 

Viola was known for her breathtaking smile. She loved home renovations and treasure hunting for the perfect antique items to finish a project. She was a life long student and environmentalist who highly valued knowledge and education. She immensely cherished times gathering with family and friends.

A greeting of her family will begin at 10AM, followed by a celebration of her life on Friday, July 26, 2024 at 10:30AM in the “Cathedral Of The Woods” - The Protestant Community Church 100 Stokes Road, Medford Lakes, NJ 08055.
