Virginia Lee (Hockstein) Russell

VIRGINIA LEE RUSSELL, (nee Hockstein), of Tabernacle, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 21st, 2025.  She was 79 years of age.  Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harold E. and Anastacia (nee Skowronski) Hockstein and has resided in Tabernacle for the past 7 years, but lived in Indian Mills for a very long time.

A former Manager and Book Keeper for One More Bar and Grill in Tabernacle, NJ, she also worked for many years at the Pic-a-Lilli Inn in Shamong, NJ.

She is the Beloved Wife of Wallace R. Russell of Tabernacle, NJ and the Loving Mother of Wallace R. Russell Jr. (Stefanie Harrington) of Galloway, NJ, Wendy Russell (Shawn Connig) of Sweewater, NJ, Jason Russell (Kim) of Shamong, NJ and Rocky Russell (Kristin Nevadomski) of Shamong, NJ.  She is also survived by her twin sister Janet Giberson of Shamong, NJ, her sister Barbara (Babs) Voth of Iowa and also her 4 Grandchildren Shannon, Ash, Shane and Shamus.  She is the sister of the late Harold “Sunny” Hockstein.     

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Tuesday, May 27th from 4:00 – 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Road, Medford, NJ, where a Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM.  Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
