Walter John Grexa Sr.

WALTER JOHN GREXA SR. of Medford, NJ passed away peacefully on October 23rd, 2023 at the age of 86.  Born in Philadelphia, PA, he has resided in Medford for the past 62 years and is the son of the late John and Anna Grexa.  A long time auto mechanic he is the former owner of Fisher’s Auto in Runnemede, NJ and also worked as a Custodian for the Tabernacle Twp. School System.  Walt was a professional musician and member of the Philadelphia Musicians League.  He is the Beloved Husband of Grace Rae (nee Hansen) Grexa of Medford, NJ and the Loving Father of Walter J. Grexa Jr. and his wife Colleeen of Southampton, NJ, Sharon Frenia and her husband Kevin of Tabernacle, NJ and Colleen Weinland and her husband Rich of Medford Lakes, NJ.  He is also survived by his brother Ronald Grexa and his wife Suzanne of Haddon Heights, NJ, his sister Carole Brown and her husband Christian of Lansdowne, VA and he is also the Grandfather of 6 and Great Grandfather of 7.  Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday, October 27th from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Bradley & Stow Funeral Home, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Road in Medford, NJ, where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM.  Entombment will be private in the Locustwood Memorial Park in Cherry Hill, NJ.  In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family requests memorial donations to either Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge, 4 Sawmill Road, Medford, NJ  08055, the Voorhees Animal Orphanage, 419 Cooper Road, Voorhees, NJ  08043, or a Guinea Pig Rescue-The Pipsqueakery, Inc.  PO Box 1627 Bloomington, IN 47402
