VINCENT THOMAS ARMENTI, MD, PhD, ("Vinnie", "Vince") of Marlton, NJ, passed away on Thursday, September 4th, 2014. He was 61 yrs. of age. Born in Newark, NJ, he grew up in Maplewood, NJ and resided in Marlton since 1988. Most Loving Husband of Dawn (Nee Barboun) and father of Stephen and Kathleen. He was a proud and grateful alumnus of Seton Hall Prep, Rutgers College, Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Medical College. He was a gifted transplant surgeon, dedicated educator and medical researcher and a talented musician. He enjoyed celebrating any occasion with his family and the many people he knew and loved, sharing his love of music, spending time at the beach, baseball season and comedy. He is the devoted son of Theresa (Nee Segreto) of Moorestown, NJ and the late Ferdinand Armenti. He is the godson of his Aunt Anne and the late Uncle Thomas Ercolano and the brother of Maryanne (John) Mannion and Robert (Patti) Armenti. He is also survived by his loving family from marriage, Mary and Steve Barboun, Judy and Bruno DiStefano, Thomas and Maryellen Barboun, Elaine and Jim Bottino, and many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, friends, patients, students, colleagues and mentors. He is also predeceased by his sister-in-law Lisa Barboun. Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Wednesday from 12:00 - 1:00 PM at the St. Joan of Arc Church, Willowbend Road, Marlton, NJ, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in the Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson, NJ. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, Medford, NJ.
