Kathleen R (Rider) Buckley

KATHLEEN R. BUCKLEY (Nee Rider), of Shamong, NJ and Sterling, PA passed away on May 19, 2015.  She was 82 yrs. of age.  Born in East Stroudsburg, PA, she is the daughter of the late Harry D & Catherine Rider.  She split her time between Shamong, NJ and Sterling, PA.  A retired Administrator and Teacher for the Lenape Regional H.S. District, Kathleen was a Chemistry teacher at Lenape H.S. for many years and retired as a Vice Principal for Cherokee H.S. in 1991 after 35 yrs. of service.  She is a graduate of East Stroudsburg College and received her Masters from Trenton State College and was an EMT and former treasurer for the Hamlin Fire and Rescue in Hamlin, PA.  She is the Beloved Mother of James R. Buckley III of Shamong, NJ, William O. Buckley of Hebron, KY and Sharon L. Polites of Medford Lakes, NJ and the Loving Grandmother of Kathryn Jennie and John W. Polites.  She is also survived by her brothers Harry D. Rider Jr, CWO-4, Special Forces US Army (Ret) and his wife Shirley of Tobyhanna, PA, and James T. Rider of Sterling, PA and her sisters Effie Vranka and her husband Joe of Boulder, CO and Bonnie Rine and her husband Jerry of Ausable Forks, NY.  She is the sister of the late Carletta Rider and the late Dixie Rider.   Relatives and friends are invited to greet her family on Wednesday from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd., Medford, NJ, where a Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday at 6:00 PM.  Interment is private and at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family requests donations to the charity of your choice.
