We were so shocked & saddened by news of Cappie passing. I couldn't believe it and kept asking everyone, are you sure? She was a wonderful friend and a very tender and warmhearted person. We will think of her often and miss her very much.

I was so sorry to learn of Cappie's passing. I,too lived in Montclair and we went through our schooling together graduating in the class of 1943 at Montclair High School.
We did not see each other since then but we did keep in touch I send my love and sympathy to all her family.

I always loved to have a chat with Cappie. She reminds me of my mother. My favorite memory: Cappie and my mom meeting, and then reminiscing about the ole days and their fond memories of Connecticut.

Cappie was a great supporter of music education and attended many concerts at Mary Bray and R. W. Kershaw Schools. She was so proud of Mary's accomplishments at concerts. Always with a smile and friendly word, she greeted everyone. She loved playing the role of "Aunt Rhodie" with the younger band members and they were so excited when she was in the audience. Rest in the peace of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
