David W. Mayer

DAVID W. MAYER, of Medford Lakes, NJ, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, July 1st, 2015.  He was 91.  Born in Haddonfield, NJ, he is the son of the late Herman B. & Delilah Mayer and the husband of the late Nancy A. (nee Adams) Mayer.  Dave was a long time resident of Medford Lakes since 1974 moving there from Springfield, PA.  A retired Mechanical Engineer with the Naval Air Engineering Center in Lakehurst, NJ, he was a graduate of Bucknell University and a Pilot/Aviator with the US Army during WWII.  He is the Beloved Father of David A. Mayer and his wife Marie of Yardley, PA and Shelley Mayer of Medford, NJ.  He is also survived by his Grandchildren Tracy Smith and Brian Bellace and his Great Grandchildren Levi and Harlee Smith.  Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Sunday from 7:00 – 8:00 PM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd., Medford, NJ, where a Funeral Service will be held on Sunday at 8:00 PM. Interment will be private in the West Laurel Hill Cemetery in Bala Cynwyd, PA.  (www.Bradleystow.com)
