DAVID D. YEAGER of Cape Coral, FL (formerly of Shamong, NJ), passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 13th, 2017. Dave was born on January 6, 1951, to David E. Yeager and the late Audrey (nee Anderson) Yeager. He attended Haddon Heights High School and graduated in 1969. He then graduated from Rutgers University and later in life received a Master’s degree from St. Joseph’s University. Dave worked at Wawa for 25+ years where he served as a Senior Director of Operations. He was a former member of the Shamong Foundation for Educational Excellence as well as the board of New Jersey Special Olympics. Dave enjoyed the finer things in life, was an avid boater, and loved to travel. He always made time for his family and friends, often lending a helping hand before anyone knew they needed help. He is survived by his wife Gail (nee Porter); daughter, Kristen Schepel (Stephen) of Quincy, MA; granddaughter, Amelie Julia Schepel; father, David of Wildwood, NJ; two sisters Debra Bernardo (Robert) of Williamstown, NJ, and JoAnn Keeler (Stephen) of Wildwood Crest, NJ; and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday, May 19th, from 7:00 – 9:00 PM and on Saturday from 9:00 – 10:00 AM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Road, Medford, NJ. The funeral service will immediately follow the viewing on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in the cemetery.
