Our hearts are heavy to learn of this beautiful soul leaving us. Dottie was one of the most vivacious, loving, positive, encouraging and supportive women I had the great pleasure of knowing. The heavens just received another angel. I loved her dearly and will cherish the memories of our many conversations over the years. IKeeping her loved ones in my prayers. Rest in peace sweet lady. ❤️

I offer my heartfelt sentiments to Dottie's family. Her record of volunteerism was incredible, both political and otherwise. She had incredible organizational skills. I had the good fortune to be one of those who organized and ran the Mount Holly Grand Prix bicycle race for 10 years but Dottie was the number one volunteer. She drafted, assembled and organized a volunteer corps of 50-plus people to help with this event. She was always cheerful and upbeat. Dottie set the bar very high in the category of community service. She will be sorely missed, to be sure.

So sorry, Susie, to you and your entire family for this tremendous loss. As someone who has lost a beloved parent and still miss him each and every day, I empathize with how difficult this time is. The amazing thing, though, about having had such a wonderful parent, is that the many warm and loving memories you have of your mom will bring such comfort and allow you to smile every time you think of her from now on.
Much love,
Susan
