My heartfelt condolences.
My first thoughts about Ernie was how inspiring he was as a senior swimmer. Then I got to know his sense of humor. That gift continues today as we remember all the times he made us laugh and continues to do so.

Grandpop, surely was one of a kind! His swimming stories and hunting stories always made me chuckle. When I was first introduce to the whole family, i felt an instant connection with him. I believe because how warm hearted he was and I missed having a grandfather around. Being married to his granddaughter "Elissa" as he called her aka Melissa." I truly realize just how AMAZING this family truly is! I'm sorry I won't be making the trip up with Melissa to pay my respects. I truly do love and miss you all very much! Words can't express enough how deeply sorry I am for everyone's lost here. I like to remember the times I did have with him and how he always knew how to make me laugh and enjoy life. Ernest, you're an amazing father, husband, grandfather, grandfather in law and amazing soul. You're never forgotten and you're never truly gone in the hearts and minds of your family and friends..I remember the time Melissa and I came up for our wedding and he told me he was going to put a rattlesnake in my bag on the plane, I never did get that rattlesnake though. However, I am sure someone up in heaven is getting his jokes and smiles! Love you and miss you always

Your grandson in law

It is with deep sadness that we send our condolences to the Moore Family. Ernie was a vibrant man who many years ago warmly took us in as part of his extended family. We especially enjoyed Christmas Eve dinners with Ernie and the rest of the Moore family! Rest In Peace, Ernie. You will be sadly missed by your beautiful family and many friends.
