Our deepest sympathy goes out to the family. We will miss him also. I was 11 years old when I first came to live on the Gardner Farm with my foster family. Richard new John when he was in 1st grade. Richard and John joined the Navy together after high school. I know there are some stories there. When all our children were little we took them over to the Navy yard to see the ship their fathers had been on, the Antietam. Hope you remember, your Dad was proud to have served. Richard has many happy memories of your Dad. They sure enjoyed playing pool together every Monday. May he rest in peace. Love to all
