June (Bader) Rankin

June Rankin, (nee Bader), of Medford, NJ, died on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 after a very brief illness.  She was 80 yrs. of age.  Born in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of the late Ceil (Barr) and Henry Bader and shared fifty years of marriage to the late Eugene M Rankin.  She is survived by their children, Eric and his wife, Cindy Griffin of Morgantown, WV; Donna Landress and her husband, Richard of East Setauket, NY; Craig and his wife Denise Gonnelli of Livingston, NJ; and daughter-in-law, Stacy Rankin of Hillsborough, NJ. Also surviving are her grandchildren, John and Michael Rankin, Jessica (Seth) Weinberg, Rachel Landress, her fiancé Andrew Rozbruch, and Brad, Carly and Erica Rankin; two great grandchildren, Jacob and Emilie Weinberg; a brother David (Marilyn) Bader and two sisters, Elaine (Isaac) Sarfati, and Bobbi (Daniel) Baumgarten and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her dear son, Glenn Rankin.  She was an avid walker, loved the ocean and playing bridge. She was a member of the Medford Historical Society and active in Senior Citizens groups. After retiring from her profession as a nurse, she continued to provide care and support to all she knew and will be missed by all who knew her.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11 at 11:00 AM at the Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 1 Winchester Court, Tabernacle, NJ.  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME of Medford, NJ.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in the memory of June to Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053 or the Medford Historical Society, 275 Church Rd, Medford, NJ 08055.  (www.BradleyStow.com)
