Margaret Helen (Thomas) Rush

MARGARET H. RUSH, (nee Thomas) of Glenolden, PA passed away on Monday, June 15th, 2015.  She was 89 yrs. of age.  Born in Philadelphia, PA, she is the daughter of the late Robert J. and Margurite M. Thomas and the wife of the late Joseph J. Rush.  A former Secretary for the Philadelphia Board of Education, Margaret was also a former board member for the Glendale Heights Association and was active in several Dance Groups.  She also enjoyed sewing and craft making.  She is the Beloved Mother of Joseph Rush of Southampton, PA, Michael Rush and his wife Nancy of Glenolden, PA and Peggy Strecker and her husband Brian of Southampton, NJ.  She is also survived by her sister-in-law Patricia Thomas of FL and her Grandchildren Jimmy, David and Stacey Rush.  Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday from 9:30 – 11:00 AM in the Our Lady of Fatima Church, 1 Fatima Drive, Glenolden, PA, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow in the Sst. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA.  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, Medford, NJ.  In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family requests donations to the Fox Chase Cancer Center, P.O.
