Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the Family and Friends of Mary Hatcher. We knew her as Olivia and Kate's grandmother, along with their grandfather, coming to visit Huntersville, N.C. It was always a special event for Gene, Amy, and the Girls!

So sorry to hear of Mary's passing. I feel so out of touch. I didn't know Mary was at Evergreen for five years--not far from us in Riverton. Somehow I still expected to be back in touch in years to come. You and Mary, Bill, were my favorites...companions in LIFT, which somehow was the height of my BCC years. Jen will be sad to hear Mary is gone; she (my oldest daughter) had Mary in class (1987-8 LIFT), and found her so thorough, attentive and helpful. "Mrs. Hatcher" was her favorite at BCC. I remember Mary all the way back to her contribution to an Honors Seminar in the early 80s: "Signed by the Masters," was the PTK theme, and Mary's was a presentation on Anais Nin. I also remember your presentation on Camus, Bill. We should be back in touch. Do email me. I am out of town now--in Rochester, spending a month this summer with a new grandson.
