Nancy E (Supernavage) Fiedler

NANCY E. FIEDLER (Nee Supernavage) is the beautiful soprano voice that has joined the angels with their golden harps in heaven on September 20, 2015.  She was 80 Yrs. old.  She is survived by the love of her life James “Jim” R. Buckley, Jr., her best friend and shared life partner of 35 years.  She is also survived by her son Scott Hunter of Great Falls, MT, her sister Elsa (Ginnie) Schneck of Minersville, PA, and her adopted family: James R. Buckley, III of Lumberton, NJ, William Buckley of Hebron, KY, Sharon Polites, Kathryn Jennie Polites, and John Polites all of Medford Lakes, NJ.  Nancy was born on January 19, 1935, in Minersville, Pa, to parents Erma and Joseph Supernavage.  She was a graduate of U of P Nursing School in 1956, where she wrote, directed and starred as lead soprano in CAPS and BUCKS PRESENTATIONS.  She was the head of the Pediatric Children’s Ward where she assisted in the first bypass surgery at Penn on the 1 ½ year old Larry Smith of Wilmington, DE.  Nancy’s career included her nursing positions at Valley General in Audubon, NJ, being a visiting and Hospice Nurse for Community Health Org. in Collingswood, NJ, being a staff nurse at Kennedy Hospital in Stratford, NJ, being a VNA Nurse with VNA of S.J. in Runnemede, NJ, being a director of Promise Day Care Center in Cherry Hill, NJ, and being a Nurse for T.O.U.C.H. in Leisuretowne, Southampton, NJ.  She was with VNA of Central N.J. from 2001 until her retirement in April of 2015.  Nancy was loved, admired and respected by all who met, knew and worked with her.  She will remain a shining light in their lives; a precious light for all.  Relatives and friend are invited to greet the family on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015 from 2:00 – 3:00 PM at the Bradley & Stow Funeral Home, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Road, Medford, NJ, where a Service of Remembrance will be held at 3:00 PM.  In lieu of expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to T.O.U.C.H. in Leisuretowne, NJ, the Animal Sanctuary or the Wounded Warriors Project.
